Also see Vidhan Sudha which houses the State’s Legislature and Secretariat, Iskcon Temple (Sri Radha Krishna Temple & cultural Complex, which is an architectural, master piece. Lunch at Uduppi Restaurant. Next see the 125-year-old Science Museum which is extremely popular with school kids. (Timings: 10am to 5.30 pm.) Over night stay at hotel. |

Depart for Mysore by surface (about 140 kms.) Start Mysore sightseeing with the Mysore Palace - once the residence of the Wodeyars, this structure is one of the largest of its kind in India. The Golden Royal Elephant Throne, The Durbar Hall ,The Kalyana Mandap and the Gallery are the main attraction here. Lunch at local restaurant. Next halt at the Jaganmohan Palace.This is a converted Art Gallery which houses paintings in the traditional Mysore Golden Leaf Style, dates back to 19th century. Evening free for shopping as Mysore is famous for Silks and Sandalwood items. Overnight stay at Lalitha Mahal Palace hotel or similar. |

Start the day with a visit to Chamundi Hill, 13 kms from Mysore perched atop a hill is a 12th century temple of Chamundeshwari..There is also a 1000 step walking track for all those young at heart to try! Next see the St.Philomena’s Church: This beautiful Cathedral was built in 1956 and is one of the largest churches in the country. Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed further to see the famous Brindavan Garden, located below the KRS Dam , 19 Kms North West of Mysore. It is the first multi purpose dam built in India. The beautiful terraced Brindvan Garden, with lighting and musical fountains transforms it self into a fairy land in the evenings. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Bandipur

Today we tour Bandipur - situated 80 Kms from Mysore. The Bandipur National Park is one of the most beautiful Wide Life Sanctuaries in the country. Rare species of birds and animals can be seen in their natural habitats. Bandipur has been chosen by the WWF for their project tiger scheme to protect tigers. Overnight stay in Cicada Resort or similar. |

Morning ( 6 -9 am ) proceed for Jeep Safari escorted by qualified naturalist to interpret the exotic flora and fauna of the region.. Breakfast at Resort. Rest of the day free for activities such as Bird Watching, Nature Walks with Experts, explore the Resort area on a Bicycle or try some holistic therapies at the resort. Lunch at Resort.
