Amongst the priceless national
heritage of India are the traditional handicrafts, continued through
generations.
In India a craft runs into the
craftsmans family like a genetic character, each generation adds
its own features while maintaining the originality. Skills have
developed with time but the components remain natural.
The best places to find the
charming creations of Indian handicrafts are the state emporiums,
various fairs and exhibitions organized by the Government, and other
associate bodies.
