India’s
most luxurious offering on rails, Deccan Odyssey offers a new way to discover
Maharasthra and Goa. The train will pass through one of the most picturesque and
historical sites of the Western Coast, through Maharashtra and Goa, offering
passengers five-star luxury while they travel. It has two Presidential Suites,
48 Deluxe Suites, Lounge and conference cars and a variety of gizmos associated
with luxury train travel. Special facilities available in the Deccan Odyssey,
are the spa and massage centres, plasma television sets and the latest
telecommunications equipment.
The 5 Star Luxury train
will run for 35 weeks in a year and can also be given out on charters on
request. There is a fully air-conditioned lounge in each coach and each cabin is
equipped with an intercom and other facilities . One of the unique
characteristics is a cabin car for the physically challenged.
