Day 01: New Jalpaiguri Rly Station (NJP) /Bagdogra (IXB) Airport – Darjeeling
On Arrival at Bagdogra either drive to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.) (70 Kms/ 3 Hrs) . On arrival at Darjeeling, Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning 04:00 Hrs drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 Ft.) to view sun rise (20 Kms/1.5 Hrs – One way). After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Thursday closed). After lunch visit Rangeet Valley Ropeway and Tea Garden (outer view), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed). Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling local sightseeing
After breakfast optional visit to Singalila National park for Hiking (36 Kms/1.5 Hrs), On return visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia loop and Japanese Peace Pagoda. After lunch visit Observatory hill and Mahakal Temple.
Day 4: Darjeeling – Kalimpong (50 Kms/ 2 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong (4000 ft), also known as the garden of flowers, the town has almost everything that defines scenic beauty like flowers, greenery, waters, mists and clouds. On arrival at Kalimpong, check into a hotel. Evening free to explore the local markets. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Local sight seeing
After breakfast visit Deolo Hill park (5556 ft), highest point in Kalimpong to enjoy some activities like Paragliding, Zorbing, Horse riding etc. Lunch at park. After lunch visit nearby Durga and Hanuman temples. Evening visit Dr Graham’s Homes Complex, which has a historic school and a very old church established by him in 1900.
Day 6: Local sight seeing
After breakfast visit Durpin Hill, which has the famous Zong Dog Palri Fo- Brang Monastery .Later visit Morgan House and Army Golf course. Also visit the World famous and Asia’s largest collection of 1500 species of cactus at Pine view nursery . Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Kalimpong – NJP Rly Station / Bagdogra airport (75 kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast Check-out from hotel for transfer to NJP Railway Station /Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
